Hello everyone! I recently gained an extreme thirst to learn all I can about real estate investing after talking with my current landlord whom was an active investor himself years ago. Lets just say I long for the freedom he and his family have. So with that, I do not want to say I'm getting into this to try and be rich but would rather have the freedom from that wealth to make it to my daughters mid-day school function, meet my wife for lunch without checking in with a supervisor, or just simply have the freedom to take the family on a real trip etc. The point is that when I put my extreme work ethic towards real estate investing, I will eventually establish the ability and freedom to truly live and enjoy more time with family and friends. I know this is not a get rich quick and requires time, commitment and patience.
I have a strong construction and engineering background but I truly know I'm capable of doing more. I have insane work ethic and hope to find some mentors in my area to learn more about the business in today's market. I asked my landlord but he said he established all his properties many years ago and doesn't know all the other niche's such as wholesaling, lease options, or fix and flips. I'm very pleased to see all of the information that BP and its members provide and look forward to meeting some folks in the Denver area. Again, I currently do not have any experience in real estate and plan on getting a good education prior to jumping in. Once comfortably educated, I intend on starting out with wholesaling to gain a 'bigger pocket' :D so that I can lean towards some fix and hold properties as well as fix and sell.

Thanks BP for creating such an amazing community and look forward to meeting more of its members!

Positively,
