Why would anyone ever want to buy a house where the locals don't even want to own it and why would someone pay more for the thrill of owning it?

Most lenders aren't thrilled to lend less than a million on commercial transactions.

But did you ever have the thrill of walking in to your STR and find an intruder, finding an unconscious and unresponsive tenant that overdosed, or dealt with several tenants that were having adulterous affairs with each others spouses?

And I passed on three properties/deals that I'd be thrilled to have today now that I realize that it is in fact okay to leave capital in a deal.When I finally put goals and plans on paper, I knew they would have worked and I'd be that much further along now.

There are a lot of people on these forums that focus on the quantity and are thrilled to have 30 units generating $100 each.
