A good engineered wood can easily stand up to the demands of a kitchen and half bath and I would never break up the transition of an entryway into another area with a change of flooring.

I really want to transition from the oil field to real estate investing full time.

People invest in hotels because they are generally a high cash flow business when operating smoothly.

I'd like to self-manage the first rental as a learning experience but would eventually plan to transition to a management company, so the numbers have to make sense to cover this expense.
