Hello Allwe are thinking about buying a townhome in the mount laurel/cherry hill Nj area.

As long as there is no pressure from the outside (like a wave of forclosures) only a few will sell for a discount.

The studs in the basement should be metal as well or at minimum pressure treated. do not put carpet in a basement! 

@Jonathan Saft You received a lot of good input here and it is all correct -- yes you should manage yourself to learn the biz, to save money, to be hands-on . . . yes- you should have professional property management to do it right, to take the pressure off of you, to allow you to scale and focus on other parts of RE investing . . .

Many have raised their prices accordingly, which then creates additional pressure on the budgets.  

This is a low pressure question.If they say no, then you can say 'I'd love to be the agent you refer your family and friends to.

My bet is that it will keep going up as inflation pressure is there.
