Just a lurker on this thread (and much of the site), but I wanted to point out that it's been proven time and time again that breed-specific legislation (BSL) doesn't decrease dog bites in municipalities and cities that implement them.

Municipalities should be legislating to get them out of residential communities but in turn should define areas where they will be allowed.STRs is a new approach to hotel accommodations that may or may not survive but for those effected they can simply turn them into long term rentals if they wish to stay in business.

There is so much discussion and legislation going on in our country about the need to implement rent control through major metros, and even state wide, in addition to how our government needs strip away landlord rights such as basic screening and ability to evict tenants out of their own personal property.
