It's good that you are interested in Minneapolis since around 2/3 of all 2-4 unit transactions in the twin cities are in Minneapolis.If you want to meet other investors I recommend in-person meetups.

I'd recommend consulting a local contractor or real estate attorney to ensure all changes meet city codes and to help streamline the permit process, especially if you’re aiming to use the properties as rentals on Airbnb.

I’m just starting out with real estate investing and I’m excited to meet like minded people and people who can help me through the process. 

Networking with other investors at local REIA is a great way to do that and also a great way to meet realtors, wholesalers, contractors, inspectors, property management companies and anything in between. 

This house didn't meet qualifications of that, no children under 6, not vacant.
