I grew up 5 minutes from Peekskill and strongly want to see this market explode the way it deserves to.  

This is an older thread but the Charlottesville and surrounding markets are exploding right now.

I think Cosby has the potential to explode in price appreciation, but that is a longer-term play. 

It only does occurred in a certain market where wage growth and job growth is exploding, usually in parallel with the stock market that has crazy valuation.For example, a crappy house in Palo that only worthed 500k 20 years ago and only 80k in another market, now worth 3 million valuations.The appreciation can last long enough when the stock market keeps going up (aka gov. print money).

@Jolly Singh I have lived in West Roseville for 20 years now and have watched the population explode and homes go way up in value.

Five years later, the community is exploding and we just sold it for 270k more than we paid.

Not sure how cool Jackson is  LOLbut I was there in Biloxi about 10 days after Katrina I was looking at a 250 unit apartment. tide water came in during the event and water was 6 feet up the walls. it was a major disaster.but from what I saw the good thing was the casino's were allowed to move from being on barges to land and the area exploded. great job on the rental.
