Realtors usually send extremly watered down property profiles, and keep the broker detailed reports for themselves.Either way, until there is some other site that is a reasonable competitor to the MLS, it is unlikely that investors and everyday people will be able to access information on properties for sale.

I then did the rehab myself, working nearly every day in January, including weekends to get the property ready to rent.I use the term rehab fairly loosely in this case, because the rehab consisted of interior paint throughout, new carpet, fixing some plaster walls, new appliances, some minor DIY plumbing and electrical, and basica cleaning.

The last check should be the one that they use to put food on the table so they don't want to see it get smaller every day that the work isn't done.GET IT ALL IN WRITING.One last thought, also get a contractor lein release waver signed when they are done or when you fire them so that they don't attach a lein to your property.

I always ask myself this question...if it's really that easy to make that much money (by doing relatively nothing), then why would they share the secret and not just spend hours every day at home doing it and making even more money for themselves??
