@Sean Herndon I will agree with @Chris T. check into a variance - cost and likelihood of it being granted.I will assume you meant 0.3 feet (about 4") because 0.3 inches is not even possible to measure from a survey standpoint on a building corner.Something else to keep in mind - if it is a house hack and you are going to be pulling permits make sure you understand that even if you are granted a variance when you pull a permit and modify the structure it could trigger a situation where you will have to bring the entire structure compliant to current code which may require your fixing the encroachment anyway.
