It looks like potential foundation issues if the doorway tiles are cracking - there is force there from the roof load, and if something is awry with the foundation it could exhibit it through cracking in the doorways - but I deal with basements so maybe someone in your area could speak up.  

It seems to me a competent tile company would know how to deal with it. 

It truly wasn't worth the 'guaranteed money' since he lost a small fortune having to replace doors, walls, carpeting, stoves, fridges and bathroom tiles and flooring.

A tile fell off of my counter last time I was there, and it needed to be glued back and grouted before the guests arrived a few hours later.)So with the caveats…It really is a way to earn good money on properties that are too expensive to cash-flow with a lease.  

Things like tile, laminate, etc. are always on sale. 

None of these are a basis to walk away from a deal but are some of the bigger things to look for which aren't as obvious as vinyl tile peeling. 

Other info/concerns:It has a tile roof (rare for my area), can see some chips from the ground.Nice neighborhood.  

I thought i should replace the tub because i was already going to do the tile (due to many cracks and broken tiles).
