The vanity, which i picked up from home depot, was the option i went with only because I had "tried to put myself in my potential tentant's shoes" and thought that with the small size of the bathroom and no medicine cabinet where would my tenants put their bath things and would the rental be less appealing without any real bath storage.

@Vishesh Shah--You're in a tough spot, especially because it's FHA.My understanding is that an FHA appraisal sticks with the property for a certain period of time, so even if you found another buyer, the previous appraisal would still be on record and tied to the property assuming they were also an FHA buyer.You can certainly appeal it, though I'm not sure what the timeline will look like.

So my total is around $4400 compared to your $9K and my property costs twice as much.Some differences on mine:- No inspection fee which is $650 of your cost (I waived inspection to make my offer more appealing)- No origination fee and yours is $437 (my rate is no points, 5.25% for investment, 30YR)- No recording fees or transfer taxes, which is over $3000 for you- My underwriting fee is $450 and yours is $711- My document prep fee is $120 and looks like your processing fee is $534- Title insurance for me is $444 and yours is over $900- I don't pay any realtor fees as the buyer, you are paying $300It looks like you are paying the "I am new so you can screw me tax".

If that's not bad enough, once it's placed in the owner's name, you can either appeal to the regulatory agency (minimal chance) OR rewire the circuitry, get electrical inspections with utility provider oversight and micro-managing of your building, and settle your big retroactive bill to get it back in the tenant's name.Now, before you ask how could they possibly find out?
