One appraiser compared my property + ADU to a local property + garage workshop.

Maybe its time.. you advertise for a weekly 2 hour meeting on how to buy investment properties.. you will get attendance .. you do it for free.you get buyers that way and probably some sellers as well.When I worked for a Syndicator ( consultant not employee) they got all their leads ( this was the 80s) by doing work shops each week in the evening on how to buy MF and small apartments. they built a billion dollar portfolio with this method.

I've attended a couple of workshops and I'm now the proud owner of two SFH rentals with one rented and the other about to rent.  

. - Millennial Flippers - Located in LA - 1 day intensive - Price Unknown- All In Momentum - Located in Phoenix, Arizona - $5,000-$7,500 - 2 day workshop + $597 for All In Academy- John Martinez - Located in Denver - 2 day bootcamp - $2,500- Wholesaling Inc - Bret Daniels - $5,000 - Not sure if this is an online course and/or event - Phoenix, Arizona- American Flippers (Adam & Bobby) - Located in the Bay Area - Price - $10,000-$20,000Any help would be great!

It was initially a workshop, but someone some 20 years ago converted it into a living space ( with a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom )I really want this property , as it has 2 rentable units, and is in a great location Plus, the price I can purchase it for is a great dealBu this " 2-unit " ordeal has thrown a wrench into thingsI know that I could get it re-appraised, and " maybe  the new appraiser will appraise it differently .
