Cracks are obvious, but also look for large openings on wooden floors or tiles; however, unfortunately is hard to know/feel cracks under carpet.

i just bought my first rental its a 4-plex building I've been racking my brain on finding the best method for tracking my monthly income to expenses on a per unit basis.

I know this sounds like a no brainier, but before securing it, open the door to make sure the racks don't slide out or conversely hard to open as they are tilted back.
