I do know that partnership agreements should iron out the responsibilities and finances of each partner before shaking hands on a deal.

I would shake their hand give them my 2 minutes elevator pitch , hand them the package , thanks them for their time , and get on to the next.

I also managed to shake off the fear of the unknown and just ask questions instead.

Get out there and shake some hands and kiss some babies, deals will come to you. 

I did it for 15 years, but I can't shake the real estate bug. 

Suddenly the rates rise, and now the developer is shaking because he knows that buyers won't be able to pay as much for his shiny new houses.

Just giggle their tree, dont shake it haha. 

I think you will have to wait about 6 months to see how things shake out.

Note: since I was not micromanaging this project, I realized we could have improved the facade, added stone, used a bellyband, wider trim and some shake siding accents the below the gable.  

Everyone in the boardroom agreed shaking their heads in agreement.
