They couldn't figure out if there was an escrow account as part of the mortgage payment that included taxes and insurance even though the closing document package with the first month's bill all clearly laid out that it did and they insisted that because the lease for my tenant which I inherited from the seller of that property had the seller's name on the lease that the seller was the one receiving rent from my tenant.

The best discounts I have gotten were 10% for whole house packages, and 5% as a small town professional customer.

Is there a way to put together an offer package with the reasons why you are making the offer in that amount? 

I've found two individuals that are selling a 29 house package deal about a hour away from where I live.

So I am trying to tie up BOTH properties and either buy them No Money down if possible, or wholesale both as a package for a nice fee :) .
