Would a bank even allow us to mortgage multiple buildings on a single lot without it being subdivided?

Do you have the funds to carry the payments if no one is renting it ? 

And not only that, my cash flow on my new properties was low or sometimes zero.

Currently have a small rental sfh on a lot that can clearly build at least a 4 unit on it.
