As for snaking your own line yes you can do it, but you have to be careful, I just saw pictures yesterday of a guy who tried to save money, got his hand wrapped up in the snake line and lost part of his finger.

That lasted about a year.Then I worked at an Italian restaurant until I almost chopped off my finger slicing bread.Then I started my own masonry company, I did great work, but didn't live up to my potential.None of those jobs played any role in where I am at today in my real estate investments.

Once they got behind it was always fingers crossed they didn’t get sick, have a car breakdown or accident, Xmas or other holiday was coming up etc.

SEC 8 sets their subsidy based on the premise that the tenant can spend 30% of their income on rent and utilities.There is SO much more, but one’s fingers can only do so much typing.  

The end of their story is that they received a final check with a middle finger stamped on it.

If you were unable to schedule the inspection no matter what the reason, your agent should have sent over a request for an extension/modification(Whatever term is used in your state)As for the result of any inspection, your agent should have also informed you that the owner is under no obligation to fix anything or lower the price unless the contract requires them to do soI realize you posts are pointing the finger at the owner and their agent and maybe there is an issue there. 

Growth of new sub divisions, zoning changes, new school going in,  crime rates, and just keeping a finger on the pulse of the daily rountine.
