In kitchen/bath areas, we've used both Tile and vinyl, but both have their pros/cons.

The area is newer, so a lot of Carpet. paint and some lesser rehab like a bathroom or a kitchen.  

An example I see is with the kitchen faucet - seems to make sense to spend an extra $50 to get a larger high end faucet?

(potentially large volume of measurements, distances etc.)I was just wondering if there were kitchen cabinet manufacturers, flooring, countertops, large contractors or architects etc who use something more advanced to take measurements. 

While looking at multiplexes in my area I am seeing some that say 10 plea but shows it is 2 kitchen with 10 rooms in a college town.

It is basically a 2bed 1 bath home in front, with a completely separate 1 bed 1 bath in the back with a kitchen and everything.
