It's a two-bedroom house in a sketchy hood and I wouldn't be caught living there myself -- that neighborhood is full of trash who laze around all day, selling drugs, collecting disability and welfare and food stamps, picking up free food at the food bank, panhandling anyone who they see who dresses and drives better than they do.My time is important to me.

There was another thread about a guy who bought in a less than desirable area of Chicago and he was complaining about all the drug deals in his alley (he was also living there).

She is using drugs, has been arrested for it a couple ones the last few weeks, had her car repossessed, and has lied to me repeatedly over the last 2 months about rent and moving out.

You can serve a 30-day notice to move if the tenant has violated the lease; late or non-payment of rent, disturbance of neighbors, damages made by tenant or guests to the unit, criminal or drug/ alcohol activity, other violations listed on the lease.I, myself, haven't gone through this process, but I suggest you go through your documents and check with someone from SHRA.

The numbers typically are BS, they're similar to the stereotype of a used car dealer...

There were hookers everywhere, drug deals were done openly on the street, there were boarded up buildings, squatters, etc., you almost couldn't give away the real estate in that area.

Either they stole some stuff and staged a break-in, it was a domestic violence situation, or there are drugs involved.

An elderly family friend, not of good health, had custody of his grandson because the parents, (family friend's daughter and husband) were drug addicts, and he did not want his daughter to lay her hands on the paid off family home, but for his grandson to inherit when he is of age.
