The garage would need to be adjusted to allow egress and potentially demo on the south section and re-added to the north end. 

The inside is a complete mess, demo materials scattered all over the place and all kinds of stuff that I’m sure he intends to leave.

After people tromp through it you'll essentially be selling a "not new" unit like a demo car. 2) who's paying for transport?

If it can bring my electrical and central air costs down then it may be well worth it to demo the whole place.(4) Insulation- I’m not sure if this old insulation is very functional or if it was put in every place it needs to be.

For example, I did all the demo work on my recent project. 55 hours of pulling plaster and lathe off the walls and loading it into a dumpster. 

Do the demo yourself, scour your local eco store for reclaimed building materials, and buy things in bulk or on sale when you can.Monitor the budget as you go, and make changes to the plans as needed.

I have a few more coming out, but I'm thinking about just hiring people separately and managing the project myself.I haven't been able to find a demo company that works in my area so far (or at least one with any reviews or a website).
