I have all daughters and my oldest is 9, she knows how to do baseboards, trim, tile, and use power tools.

Carpet I can go cheap with a rental but get a good pad.as far as tile I would not  go cheap just me.

I personally do AV wiring, interior painting, tiling and flooring.  

Tile floors, ideally everywhere.  

Some DIY projects l enjoy are flooring (tiling and laying hardwood mostly) and restoring nice hardwood.

Carpet, tile, and wood respectively and probably need about 7 windows.2. 

After the hardwood floor, it will need to be run under the dishwasher and the refrigerator any way. i always run the wood/ tile/ vinyl first then install the carpets - saves on cuts and looks better.
