The things we fear the most rarely take place.

many people fear losing the tenant and keep rents put.  

To know that someone had the same fear and over came that fear and shared their story, really helps a person to stay focused and eager to just do it. 

I will admit that I am fearful, but determined to learn the about real estate investing.

I can handle that doubling but the fear of the unknown has me getting cold feet.

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum so please be gentle.I've always had a fear about investments, mainly because you'd "lose" money now and won't see the profit until much later.

this particular one is an off market deal so my biggest fear,  that they see i just bought it for x amount and then try to sell right away for x +, doesn't apply in this case.I would want to buy this property at $290,000 and try to list for $360,000.This just doesn't seem like a very big spread and i would fear that it would sit on the market.

I'm nearly 40 and feeling dread over where I'm going to be in a few years.There is a nagging feeling inside me that there is more to life than this.My previous experiences with real estate have only to do with the homes I've owned and lived in.

I think that coming from selling cars to real estate would be great for you, the issue that keeps most people from succeeding (fear, selling) you have most likely conquered.However, I would recommend that you put one year in doing both.  

Should I just wait it out or should I start nagging them?
