The owner must have an STR endorsement in place on their policy….

@Joe Davis  With a partial note sale there is usually an Assignment of the Deed of Trust (or Mortgage) and an endorsement/allonge of the note from the note holder to the investor.

My company even has an endorsement that can be added to home policies or landlord policies that just states the property was bought via contract.

But please keep in mind that in Denver, there were only 14 FHA 203k loans endorsed FY 2022.
