Hello, my name is Phil and I have pretty much zero experience in real estate (aside from buying my own home 10 years ago).  I live in Syracuse NY and I'm a mechanical engineer.

My goals in real estate are obviously to make money.  But I'd also like to learn about the investing so I can teach my kids as they get older.  I think real estate is a great way of developing great wealth, or even just some extra income.  My goals are to get a few rental properties and possibly flip some houses.  I've been interested in real estate investing and have been reading up on it, on and off, for over 10 years.  I've decided i finally have to take the leap and go for it.

I joined BP for possible assistance as I gain momentum.
