Dauphin Island sounds like a fantastic option, especially with the more laid-back, fishing village vibe.

This sounds very much like what I do with my current, non-investor clients, without of course the ROI factors.

Sounds like your biggest worry is buying something that becomes a hassle.

I saw room-to-room rental, and it sounded like a HH situation to me.
