We could have hired someone else, but for one week we did not want to take that gamble on an unknown.

Bars, brothels and gambling sprung up around the railroad and we still see a more "colorful" environment in Ogden.

While it's certainly a risky move to gamble with your retirement, it is an option. 

Gambling/poker sites can easily be rigged for the users unless the code is published on a blockchain I would not trust it.

For personal, most phones have a setting where you can block unknown callers, and there are apps you can download to help filter out spam calls.

Oh my goodness,  I went ahead and contacted a few people on the Airbnb platform and one of them reported me to spam.....Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Usually we'll provide water and sometimes some pastries but I let the participants know they're welcome to bring refreshments if they'd like (one lady brought some delicious Spam Musabi ^_^).  

And they may be more willing to identify their junk at the gamble they may sell it for the $5.
