Standard of living is pretty good here...housing reasonable and pay for corporate types jobs above average and economy is pretty diverse, not dependent on any one industry.  

The economy is much more diverse in Orlando also, barring further Covid issues.

I wanted a city in the midwest which has a growing and diverse economy but also has good cash flow for real estate. 

@Lucy Oliveira Researching markets is quite simple - look for population and job growth and a diverse economy.

Now, I am a third generation real estate investor so I know and understand real estate but I also know diversity is good -but only if it is in investments you know and understand.

A lot of what makes Huntsville a great investment opportunity makes it even better now - low unemployment, a diverse economy, a low cost of living.

People continue to move here for the diverse economy, plethora of fun activities like tourist attractions and outdoor parks, and we have a very rich culture and food scene as well. 

Personally, I just love the job diversity and sturdiness of markets like Atlanta.

In my opinion it is one of the best cities for REI since it has a ton of job growth, even currently, and has a diversity of industries (insurance, fashion, logistics, and University) that are headquartered here. 

I honestly feel is no other community more knowledgeable, diverse, and helpful than BiggerPockets!
