These are cash flow zones and this is the time to buy within them.I believe that Indianapolis is going to continue to grow slowly for a while and then spike in 4 or 5 years and can't imagine similar changes following suit on surrounding major cities.There's my two cents.

I am in lubbock, and i can tell you duplexes and quads are in high demand, there ihas been a recent spike in demand for higher end rentals here in town, renting from 1400 to 1700, which is the top of the market here.

It's likely that the they spiked the prices during Super Bowl weekend, but I would agree with you about the STR's here being inflated.
