So I amend my original response that the 150’ max expansion applies for a JADU or an ADU built into existing structure that does not meet the ADU setback requirements.  

@Megha MathurYou can find DSCR without a prepayment penalty but you would pay a higher origination fee and rate.

ANd they dont care about their credit and make sure their is no deficiency judgement there are bad actors out there that will intentionally not pay the mortgage and rip the rents until the bank forecloses a few years down the line all the while creamting the original sellers credit and frying their nerves and freying their marriage.

Original price is 375k and I'm getting it for around 310k.Would appreciate any help here as I am investing out of state, though will be house hacking and living in the home for a bit.

If you have a lot of equity, sometimes a cash out refi will have a better rate than the blended rate of original mortgage plus HELOC.

I am originally from Ontario just across the Thousand Islands bridge from Watertown.

The lender offering 90% of purchase 100% rehab cost. 12% rate and origination 2 point and 2000$ process fee. which last two things which 2 point and 2k fee I don’t like it.
