Regardless of what you do to the important stuff on a home the avg consumer still wants to see granite countertops lol Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

The one nice thing about achieving financial freedom through real estate is we have the luxury to say this and change our lives. 

You are bleeding money now, but each year it might actually get worse depending on the financials. 

It's also helpful to consult a local real estate agent to understand market trends, including demand, vacancy rates, and rental growth patterns.

AND the side you live on you can rent out a room or two depending on the number of rooms in your duplex or you have the option to maintain your privacy and sanity and keep it to yourself.  

Maybe they bring the experience and provide the funds.I don't like any of your options based on I think you are too new to investing in real estate to take on any of those.

Also, market the property on social media with in various real estate groups, if you haven't done so already.You may want to consider promotions such as waving the application fee, or half off first month's rent, etc.I hope you get them rented out soon! 

When I check local real estate listing it’s evident that a number of these properties for sales are former airbnbs that were purchased in the last 2 years and clearly are not worth holding onto for the owners.
