I am eager to take the next step and make some connections in my market and potentially gain mentors and future business partners in my area through meetups etc.

I'm purchasing a junior non-performing mortgage behind a performing first mortgage secured by a home in Massachusetts.  

Not looking for a mentor, just for perspectives from a wider audience.

You may consider fine tuning your skills or finding the right people to work with (contractor, mentor, agent, lender, etc) before moving forward on a deal I stopped referring contractors years ago for a number of reasons. 

Armando:One of the best real estate education and mentoring firms has a large office in your back yard.  

I believe I have gotten alot done in a short amount of time without an actual in-person mentor.

I have 3 real estate mentors in my area.

Fortunately, I had a mentor (my mother) who guided me throughout the entire process.

And that is why I went over there just to test myself and see how I would do as far as talking to people on how I can help them in their situation, I would have liked to be with a professional and see how they do it but I am not the type to pay thousands for mentoring and I know the only way I will learn is by practicing and getting out there I appreciate your feedback Carlton, maybe if your open to it we could meet and if you have any pointers you would be willing to give that would be great.

I really enjoyed day 3, I feel like I could really learn with a mentor like him, he obviously knows what he is doing, and is a leader in his field.
