Purchase price: $89,895 Here's the finished pictures of our back unit....we installed new LVP, painted all walls, painted out the kitchen cabinets and installed a tile backsplash, gutted and redid the bathroom, tore down the water stained ceiling in the mudroom and left the old wooden beams exposed, exposed old shiplap on the walls, de-did the stairs to the attic, and turned the attic into a legal 2nd bedroom.

The stairs from the kitchen are a lot more like a ladder than steps, making it hard to use for much of anything, though there's a bulkhead too.

That side is 2br and 1 bath but has some stairs (halfway up the wall) that leads to a spacious 2 more rooms that could potentially be turned into another bedroom.

Cement backer board, morter, grout and labor are pretty much independent of the cost of the tile itself, and easily add up to several dollars.

And there was one time when I was vacuuming a flight of stairs before listing it that I swear I saw a shadow come up from behind me, and when I swung my body around there was nothing there.I'm not saying I think the house was haunted or that I saw a ghost or apparition (although I'm pretty sure that shadow wasn't a figment of my imagination,) but I certainly didn't plan on getting freaked out everytime I was alone in that house.

I want to do the following to the place now that we are in the process of moving in:1) New carpeting of about 800-1000 sq ft2) Want to finish a room in the basement 3) Wife is not happy with the granite in kitchen, so want to rip it out and replace and enlarge the island area in kitchen4) Need some plumbing work done5) Want to rip out the shower and tub in master and modernize6) Iron balusters on stairs 6) Need A/C work done And a few other odds and ends.If anyone in Atlanta has any recomendations I would greatly appreciate it.

In addition to the original scope I have installed a mailbox post (cemented), trimmed out a door, and repaiered a missing ridge cap over a dormer. $200 worth of work, BUT the goodwill is not worth the money.
