I would talk to the Chamber of Commerce and to talk to an experienced and long term city council person to see what is going to happen in the future.

I've heard rumor that there's some discussion among Town Council as to how to address that, but for now there really aren't a lot of these unless they've been grandfathered in.

We've already got a housing affordability problem and rightly or wrongly, short-term rentals are seen as exacerbating that problem, so few city council people are going to want to be seen as making the problem worse.
