From the short list of mountains you have, I’d think of Gunstock, King Pine, and Ragged as being more lake area rentals than ski areas drawing major tourists during the winter. 

DR depend where you build you can see the same numbers but you need to do your homework and invest in non tourist areas because these areas the cost of land the land is a lot cheaper than the tourist areas. 

It is not a stand-alone tourist destination and will likely not ever become one - it's a typical Texas beach on the gulf with brown water, rocky bottom, and multiple oil spills over the years.  

Yes its far--- they give 6 month tourist visas now --- and yes the plane flight is annoying.

Due to the beautiful area we live in, it's a perfect location for tourists.

Galveston being essentially a vacation tourist city is happy to have the AirBnB it seems, as long as your paying them of course.At the vacation rental house today cleaning while rolling contractors through for bids on the leveling work in the back.

As for Ecuador, they are being occupied by tourist who have been stranded there because the airports have been closed.

Hi @Ellie Pappas up in Saratoga around the horse racing track there is a massive tourist scene that occurs from Mid July to Early September.

We are located in West Jordan, west of Bacchus Highway, so I'm concerned we are too far from tourist attractions to be successful in STR.
