I did have a pest control exterminator come to spray both sides of the duplex right after I purchased the place.Her side compared to the neighbors is terrible.

As pictured, you get to pull a plugged-in washer out of the hole, with water spraying around, to get to the shutoff valves and unplug it.If possible, try to have a regular outlet (120 V) available for the countertop as well - especially if the ironing board will fit in the laundry area.

Train all tenants where the valve is in the basement and use a spray paint can or some sort of sign with an arrow to show them where the valve is.

I haven't come across a whole lot of information about this online, and opinions vary from pumping the whole duct system full of concrete, to putting spray foam in the ducts about a foot from each return and then filling the return with concrete in that small area so its capped off.Just curious if anyone has any experience with this, or has ever heard of a contractor talking about this, etc etc etc.Thanks!
