We will see how this shakes out in the long term.

I have two questions:  (1) I live in South Austin and have been shaking the trees for about six months trying to find a deal to buy.  

Need to have the option to put your hands around someone's neck and shake if things go sour 🤫

As an investor that only looks for distressed deals and value add I just sit back and shake my head.

. - some people will agree with you on a price, shake your hand and then will take someone else's offer. 

I may not be giving the current window a "fair shake" as I'm sure its a low end Pella or JW from Home Depot and does have a break in it, but having a loud living room makes the property undesirable. 

Shake off your set feelings that your investor friend is not getting the deal you thought he should get.

But nothing trumps shaking people's hands and being able to ask follow-up questions, which is not possible with podcasts or books.

However, it's clear to me that shaking people and saying "Get your act together" or blaming them for their choices isn't solving their problems which, by extension, become my problems. 

This may be a good time to continue saving your money and educating yourself to see what shakes out.
