I I am looking a general contractor to remodel my basement adding a kitchen, washer and Dryer hook ups and add a walk out door so I can rent out my basement.

I didn't think i could successfully pull off the "non-owner" ruse with having to remodel the unit and updating the tenants on a regular basis. 

He has done some work for me, including interior remodeling. 

I respect some good work on remodeling kitchens!

Just completed a large remodel on my primary residence ($90k in) with the goal of refinancing to consolidate some personal debt and pull some additional cash for other real estate related projects, BUT ran into a road block with a lender.

Louis, Baltimore and the South Side of Chicago... but Detroit is different from them all.  1)  Remodeled nice homes (that you will be all in around $40K to $50K) will have hundreds of people that want to rent for $800/mo to $900/mo. 

Hi BPersWe are looking to do a significant remodel of our primary residence  (a 1400 sqft addition plus remodeling of most of the house) but are having difficulty finding a GC that uses cost-plus rather than fixed pricing. 

My new wife and I would like to sell our current home and purchase something we could live in and remodel for 2 years and sell to try and get out of a mortgage over a couple times doing the live in and flip method.I apologize if I have overcomplicated this, if there is anything I missed please ask and Ill fill in the blanks.

My brother and I are a general contractor, specializing in SFR remodels. 

I'm going to have it leveled, do some minor remodeling and then pull all my cash out again.
