Honestly, I could not be happier when I hear people are leaving S Ca. 

You can have happier and higher-quality tenants.

But on another level - having lived through 2008, 2000, 1990 - I know a crash is coming again eventually and I think I have just as much fear of losing it all as someone with $140K instead of $14M.I am no happier than I was when I was a 17 year old undergrad reading about Plato, living in a dirty dorm room and eating stale pizza.

I left a nice paying corporate job to become a real estate investor and couldn't be happier with that decision.There are some things in life that are always going to be more important than money :)Best wishesSharad

That's certainly a happier life than slaving away 60 hours a week in a cube and being stuck in the rat race for 40 years until you die.

Simply put, if people would buy bags of dog crap to eat, I sure as hell wont dine with them, but you better believe I am all the happier to pay someone to collect, bag, and sell all the poop they wanna eat!

On a happier note, I'd still buy from the other company I tried if the right deal presented itself.
