If they are really apt to move they will do it sooner rather than later anyway because nobody wants to move in Ohio in a couple of months because of the cold  and NOBODY in Ohio will be complaining about not having Central Air because ....again....it will start to be rather cold!

So, basically I realized this place is falling hard in the liability collum and I'm just trying to unload this place and move into mil housing while awaiting my much sooner discharge.

My father has been trying to get me to invest in commercial (his wheelhouse) for the last decade, and after seeing his portfolio grow in that timespan, I'm kicking myself for not starting that journey sooner. 

IF you have a mortgage that is $xxx, remember that by you paying it off sooner will only save you the monthly payments.Example:  $350 mortgage + a $70k pay off probably wouldn't be the best use of $70k. 

"How you doing, your family member is selling me the roof over your head and you need to leave" doesn't seem like a good conversation starter.Lastly, is there an industry standard incentive that typically works to motivate "tenants" to move out sooner than later?
