Well now that could still be subject to how many drinks you have at the reception event!

They generally do not.While I found his attitude a little insulting (essentially saying that all tradesmen go out and drink their paycheck Friday night and are too hungover to work on Saturday), I did like the concept of looking at what they are invoicing for, comparing it to the quality and quantity of work actually done, having a few days to make sure it jives and then cutting checks.  

Pick his pea brain for the price of a drink.

The National Groundwater association has a site where you can look up contractors by state (I won't say they are the only good contractors because my well guy isn't a member but it is a start) and some states have programs to assist getting drinking systems in line with local regulations.

If there is a zoning/permitting issue, then the City needs to get with the program because having some tightly-monitored efficiencies available would go a long way toward dealing with the homeless.BTW, it seems there were some homeless alcoholics living or at least meeting in our house before we bought it, who are now out of a home.
