If I were to move to Miami, I would get an above ground apartment on the second or third floor in case of flooding and if the lights go out and the elevator won't work...

The property has a Base Flood Elevation 7 ft (item B9 in Elevation Certificate).

Check the elevation of the corner and the middle to get the deflection of the good side then do the same to the spalled side (use a rotary laser, ground might not be flat).

Not sure the elevation certificate, but according to the flood zone map the flood zone is AE.

I am thinking really hard about using this material in a future project, using it for stairwells, elevator shafts, and the entire structure.

Prices currently are a little elevated, but deals are out there!
