In another 10 years you won't find one within a 10km radius who knows how to operate a lawn mower. 

I'd also factor in monthly lawn maintenance as your tenants will expect you to pay for this.I'm pretty sure you could find a deal where you live in one room and the other tenants pay 100% of your expenses.

However, my family member saw that the neighborhood was starting to head in the wrong direction when they saw that some windows were being boarded up down the road and people were letting their lawn and shrubs wither.

Rents are $850 and $875 and one of the tenants is taking care of the lawn.
