It's usually best to separate the attorney drafting the agreement from the title company closing the transaction if possible

So my first point is to separate out these groups as they were never part of the solution.The best solution in my oppinion is simply building more housing and not necessarily affordable housing.

So purchase --> fix --> rent (in your case occupy) --> refinance.Househacking is where you take advantage of owner occupied incentives (including but not limited to 5% down and lower interest rates) while renting either rooms or separate apartments in the same property.With your situation, you can totally do both.

. - Going further out Brentwood and Oakley have appreciated quite a bit and have pretty good schools- Something with potential to add value: ADU attached to the main house or separately in the backyard in the future to get additional rent.
