Park is not big enough for modern homes its all little single wides...

We eventually settled on a darker floor as we thought it looked more modern and we felt that it would balance with the white counters, and we plan to do a white backsplash eventually too. 

Am I too goody two shoes for the modern real estate world?

The old toilet had a smaller pipe (1920 style) when replaced with a modern toilet solved the clogging problem.

Its a big job grinding(diamond cutters), patching, polishing(finer diamond cutters), staining and sealing a concrete floor.I could see it in a converted warehouse setting with open floor plan, sandblasted heavy timbers, and painted industrial ductwork, etc.totally agree with this, concrete floors look great but really create a certain look associated w/ modern, industrial.
