Even though I have done lots of value adds close to on budget and never had one prior extremely miss budget, I extremely missed budget on a value add I completed this month (I was starting to believe it was never going to happen to me).

But it's still a bandaid and will pop out, crack, let water in, separate, and let the underlying wood rot almost as bad as regular bondo, after a few years.Napa, 3m, bondo, & Evercoat (marine), etc all sell polyester auto body fillers that are one step up from the prior with real "waterproof" claims etc, maybe priced around $30-50/quart or $75/gallon, range.

There is a safe harbor for you…it’s just 110% of prior year since you’re over the $150,000 AGI.You can also base on 90% of current year’s taxes to avoid the underpayment of estimated tax penalty.Keep in mind you can use Form 2210 along with your return to show the IRS how much income you earned by quarter and make your estimated tax payments accordingly.
