Anthony here, my wife Chynna, and I are relatively new to real estate investing, but we’ve already taken our first steps by acquiring two multifamily properties—a triplex (where we currently live) and a duplex.

I want to buy a house-hacking property or duplex around the SoFlo area, but I'm wondering it it could be a better idea to invest OOS in Huntsville Alabama where I could afford a quadplex or something of that measure.

A cost segregation study was performed on this residential condo in Jupiter, FL purchased in 2022 with a depreciable cost basis of $672,870.

4 duplexes all occupied.  

It's bad enough not to meter a duplex - anything bigger is absolutely absurd.

My first deal was a house hack on a duplex and I did that personally, had no issues at all.

I live near Philadelphia, Pa and don’t see many duplexes or up in my area.
