I am amazed at all the different things they were able to cram into that house because of how shaded off it was from trees/ bushes.. but still right on the corner of a busy intersection.

@Peter Morgan tint the primer helps but I have mostly found it makes a big difference for darker colors,   for light colors I am not sure if it saves you a coat. 

Its darker in basement units generally, and showers can add to the humidity already there. 

The grass is rarely greener on the other side of the fence, it is just a different shade of green.

I often found myself looking at several stores, online, for which shade of off white tile looks the best, just how cheap can I get this tile per sq. ft.?

For example, they say no but you ask "what if I build a bus stop (bench, sign, some shade) in front of my building."
