Hi,I opened an LLC several months ago, but misspelled the name when i opened it.When i wanted to start doing business with this LLC, i realized that the LLC was registered with the wrong name in the city, state and IRS records. After filing a certificate of amendment with my state, the name of the LLC was adjusted and the city/state records have been updated with the new and correct name.I would like to know where i can find out if the IRS records were updated aswell following the certificate of amendment, and do i need to file any specific forms with the IRS in order to change the name in their records?
