Hi everyone on BP,I'm an aspiring real estate investor/developer in Charleston, South Carolina.I've been lurking here on Bigger Pockets for awhile, reading as much as possible and listening to all the podcasts, but I've neglected getting involved in the site until now.I'm still educating myself, but I'd like to begin focusing on small multi-family investing with the ultimate goal of developing urban infill projects.I have a full-time job as well as a family which has kept me from moving too quickly.

Generally speaking, are Licensed Brokers open to having a new/aspiring REA work under their umbrella if the REA's intent was to solely focus on his or her own RE portfolio?

This requirement is simply not achievable for some of my newer investment clientele, which is a tough cookie to swallow when a lot of these folks have big dreams and aspirations, and an ability to finance these at a slightly lower rate.
