I read the answers here and don't see anything problematic if we simply transfer the lot to the new LLC, and sla as the Trust is the only owner of the LLC.

Transferring them into an LLC is fine.2) I'm reasonably sure that declaring bankruptcy would result in the creditors going after the properties.

Hey Anthony, with conventional financing, like second home loans, you won’t be able to borrow with an LLC or transfer into one without triggering the due on sale clause.
